Vision Éternel To Collaborate With Bonfires For Nobody

For the past year and a half, Vision Éternel has been working on a split 7″ vinyl with Calexico, California’s Ethereal Beauty. The split extended play was scheduled to come out in early 2009 through Abridged Pause Recordings but was delayed due to recording issues from both bands. Jordan Leal, who founded Ethereal Beauty in late April of 2008, has just announced that the band’s name has officially been changed to Bonfires For Nobody.

The last three songs composed and recorded under the name Ethereal Beauty in late 2009 will be used on the split 7″ vinyl with Vision Éternel, under the name Bonfires For Nobody. Jordan Leal has also recorded seven new songs since changing the band’s name earlier this year, which will be released as a debut full-length for the band titled “Moments Like These“. Both releases will be out through Abridged Pause Recordings in 2010.

Vision Éternel’s side of the split will showcase re-recorded songs from earlier releases and feature guest appearances by such musicians as Garry Brents from Parabstruse, Vincent Cassar and Camille Giradeau from Smohalla, Eiman Nejad from Eliminator, Adam Kennedy from Beyond The Dune Sea, Patrick Lacharité from Apillow and Philip Altobelli from Darklink.
