Valentine’s Day Exclusive: Love Within Narcosis (Re-Recorded)

Vision Éternel has released a promotional single to celebrate Valentine’s Day and to get the word out about the band’s forthcoming EP, “Abondance De Périls“. Due out on March 14th of 2010 through Abridged Pause Recordings, “Abondance De Périls” is Vision Éternel’s third extended play. The promotional single, “Narcosis (Thoughts Of Sonya)“, is exclusively available for streaming on Vision Éternel’s Myspace page and only for Valentine’s Day. The band calls it a “Valentine’s Day heartbreak treat”. In the past, Vision Éternel has always tried its best to release new material in the month of February each year. But with delays in post-production and the end of the month quickly approaching, Alexandre Julien decided to give something to the fans who were impatiently waiting for the new EP.

The new version of “Love Within Narcosis“, originally found on the band’s 2007 debut EP, “Seul Dans L’obsession“, was recorded in the summer of 2009 during early tracking sessions for the forthcoming EP “Abondance De Périls“. The updated take boasts a new intro, a broader sound and was recorded using a different guitar tuning. The song will not appear on the forthcoming EP and is a b-side from the studio session.
